“Exploitation and Violation of Human Rights through Qatar’s Justice System”
Fellow researchers are required to provide their initial Research Proposal outlining the facts, figures
Qatar’s Corruption level has unleashed a chain of human rights violations that obstruct every step in the law enforcement and justice process.
The research should outline a clear linkage between corruption and economic, social and cultural rights, as well the inter-dependence of violations among them.
Further information required to be included in the research are the ability/restrictions imposed over civil society to engage in both the human rights and anti-corruption arenas which should be determined by governments respecting, protecting and fulfilling their obligations to create such a space. Without this condition for a safe forum, the work – and lives – of anti-corruption and human rights activists is endangered.
The research should also relate all available resources of information available online through the reports issued by the United Nations, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and other reliable sources of information. Purpose of the research is to determine the cause effect and reason of the destruction of the legal and justice system in Qatar.
